Liii STEM Magic Paste
Differences between Magic Paste and Smart Paste
Magic Paste Functionality
Magic Paste provides lossless copy and paste of mathematical formulas and tables. You can directly copy content from various Large Language Models (LLMs) into Liii STEM's TMU documents. The system automatically converts LLM-generated content (including code, formulas, tables, etc.) into the TeXmacs standard format, ensuring the professionalism and consistency of document typesetting.
Smart Paste Functionality
Shortcut Keys
- Windows\Linux: ctrl + shift + v
- MacOS: Command + shift + v
In text mode, it pastes as plain text. In math mode, it automatically converts LaTeX code into Liii STEM mathematical formulas.
Magic Paste Usage Guide
- Select the content you want to copy from an LLM (currently supports DeepSeek, Doubao; more LLMs will be supported soon) or from Zhihu, right-click and copy, as shown below:
Shortcut Keys
- Windows\Linux: ctrl + c
- MacOS: Command + c
Note! Do not click the copy button at the bottom left of DeepSeek. That button copies the content in Markdown format.
- Paste directly into Liii STEM. The result appears as shown below:
Shortcut Keys
- Windows\Linux: ctrl + v
- MacOS: Command + v
Why Magic Paste Might Fail
- Some websites like Kimi and Wenyan Yixin do not include
LaTeX
source code in their front-end pages. Currently, mathematical formulas are primarily extracted based onLaTeX
source code. - The browser version is too old. It is recommended to use the latest version of Chrome or Edge browsers. Support for additional browsers will be added in future releases.
Alternative Solutions if Magic Paste Fails
- Directly click the copy button at the bottom of the large model conversation message. This copies the content in
Markdown
format.
- In Liii STEM, right-click -> Paste From -> Markdown.
